‘Chucky’ Season 3 Is A Slow Start To An Expected Gory Season

A new era of terror is here now that the first part of the third season of the USA & SYFY series Chucky has premiered. The Don Mancini-created series returned on Wednesday, October 4 bringing the infamous killer doll Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) to Washington, D.C. now living with The First Family with Devon Sawa playing the President.

I’m a fan of Chucky and the entire franchise. It’s one of the most campy franchises in the Horror genre and just when you think you’ve had enough you will be drawn back in and wanting more of that red-haired psycho. Zackary Arthur, Bjorgvin Arnarson, and Alyvia Alyn Lind are back as Jake, Devon, and Lacy along with Fiona Dourif and Jennifer Tilly as Nica and Tiffany. Their characters will appear in future episodes.

The season 3 premiere episode was very slow as it introduced a bunch of new characters and it had one kill that was a bit shocking but nothing to get me hyped about watching episodes live. I think I might let episodes stack up this season especially since we’re only getting half this year and they stream on Peacock.
