Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and Charles Melton Star in Netflix’s ‘May December’ [Official Trailer]

Netflix released the trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the year today and movie lovers have been buzzing. Directed by Todd Haynes, “May December” stars Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and Charles Melton.

With the screenplay by Samy Burch and story by Burch and Alex Mechanik, “May December” follows actress Elizabeth Berry (Portman) researching an upcoming role. She meets with the subjects of the film Gracie Atherton-Yoo (Moore) and Joe (Melton) who gripped the nation with their notorious tabloid romance because of their significant age difference. The pair met and were romantically linked when Joe was in 7th grade and Gracie was 36.

Piper Curda, Cory Michael Smith, D.W. Moffett, Drew Scheid, Elizabeth Yu, Jocelyn Shelfo, Andrea Frankle, and Kelvin Han Yee make up the ensemble cast.

“May December” premieres Friday, September 29 during the New York Film Festival. The film comes to select theaters on November 17 and streams on Netflix on December 1, 2023.
