Ryan Gosling Rehearsing “I’m Just Ken” Will Make You Love Him More

The “Barbie” movie just keeps on giving. The Greta Gerwig-directed film has surpassed a billion dollars at the box office since its July 21 release date and has since sporadically dropped behind-the-scenes videos of how the perfectly pink film was made.

Ryan Gosling‘s performance as Ken, Barbie’s loyal counterpart, was the highlight of the movie for me, and his “I’m Just Ken” song from the soundtrack has been on rotation in my head from the moment I heard it. The only thing better than “I’m Just Ken” is seeing Ryan rehearse for “I’m Just Ken.”

In a newly released clip viewers can watch all the behind-the-scenes glory of Ryan rehearsing for his stand-out number alongside the other Kens (Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa, and Scott Evans). You could tell how dedicated Ryan was to giving Kenergy and how much fun he was having in this role.
