A Groom Is Found Murdered In ‘The Afterparty’ Season 2 Official Trailer

The hilarious murder mystery comedy The Afterparty is making a triumphant return for a second season next month and the official trailer is here showcasing the new whodunit that must be solved.

Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, and Zoë Chao are returning in season 2 as Detective Danner, Aniq, and Zoe, respectively in the Christopher Miller created series. In the new season premiering in mid-July, Zoe’s sister Grace (Poppy Liu) is getting married but when Edgar (Zach Woods), the groom, is found dead Grace along with other guests from the wedding are prime suspects. The special thing about The Afterparty is that the events surrounding the murder are recounted through a different character’s perspective and in a different film genre.

Elizabeth Perkins, Paul Walter Hauser, Anna Konkle, Jack Whitehall, Vivian Wu, John Cho, and Ken Jeong have joined the cast for the second season of the show with new film styles like film noir, western, and period drama teased.

The Afterparty returns to Apple TV+ on Wednesday, July 12.
