Meryl Streep Joins ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3 in Official Tease

Hulu’s hit series Only Murders in the Building is expanding the already stellar cast with more big names in Season 3. Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd join Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in the series that follows three strangers who become friends and podcasts collaborators after they realize they have a shared obsession with true crime and find themselves wrapped up in one.

Paul Rudd’s addition to the cast was revealed during the season 2 finale in August 2022. Rudd plays Broadway actor Ben Glenroy who had a role opposite Charles-Haden Savage (Martin) in Oliver’s (Short) play. It was clear Ben and Charles didn’t get along, but Charles may become a prime suspect in yet another murder because during the opening night of the show, Ben stumbled on stage and died. Meryl’s character appears to also have a role in the play as she’s seen at a table read in the season 3 teaser.

There hasn’t been an announced release date yet, but Only Murders in the Building season 3 is expected to premiere this year.
