Peacock’s ‘Poker Face’ Renewed For a Second Season

Peacock is placing more bets on the success of their original series Poker Face and renewing the show for a second season.

Natasha Lyonne stars as Charlie Cale in the Rian Johnson-created 10 episode mystery series about a woman with “an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying.” Traveling cross country, Charlie Cale uses her keen sense of observation to solve murders while taking on odd jobs. She’s also on the run from dangerous men.

The appeal of Poker Face lies in the captivating murders Charlie stumbles across and the all-star guest appearances in the series. Adrien Brody, Benjamin Bratt, Lil Rel Howery, Chloë Sevigny, Dascha Polanco, Hong Chau, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ron Perlman, Colton Ryan, Stephanie Hsu, Jameela Jamil, Tim Meadows, Judith Light, Clea DuVall, and many more appear in Poker Face season 1.

When news of the renewal dropped Rian Johnson shared on Twitter an idea of how long he hopes the show will run by tweeting, “Our goal is to keep making these until you’re all so sick of us 🙏🏻♥️💃.”

Episodes 1 -7 of Poker Face are available to stream on Peacock. New episodes premiere on Thursdays.
