Familiar Foes Face Off With Ghostface in ‘Scream VI’ Official Trailer

The official trailer for “Scream VI” teases this version of Ghostface is unlike anyone before as the notorious masked killer trades Woodsboro for the Big Apple.

For almost 30 years spanning soon-to-be six films, the “Scream” franchise has been asking fans what’s their favorite scary movie and playing on all the troupes that transpire in horror films. But this time around “in a city of millions, no one hears you scream.” Following the events of the 2022 “Scream,” Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) and her sister Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) along with Tara’s friends/twin siblings Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding) leave Woodsboro as four survivors attempting to start fresh after the latest killing spree, but Ghostface has other intentions in mind.

Courteney Cox returns to the franchise again as Gale Weathers and Hayden Panettiere appears on screen again as Kirby Reed, her character from the 2011 “Scream 4” film. Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving also join the franchise in this new installment.

“Scream VI” comes to theaters on March 10.
