Cultures Clash In The ‘You People’ Official Trailer Starring Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy

First comes love, then comes family, and then everything goes to hell in the new romantic comedy You People coming to Netflix.

Directed by Kenya Barris and co-written by Barris and Jonah Hill, Hill stars as Ezra, a man looking for love and finds it in the most rom-com way, mistaken identity in You People. Amira (Lauren London) and Ezra quickly hit it off, so now it’s time to meet the folks which becomes an issue for the interracial couple. Amira’s parents Akbar (Eddie Murphy) and Fatima (Nia Long) clash with Ezra’s parents Arnold (David Duchovny) and Shelley (Julia Louis-Dreyfu) and hilarity ensue. The film examines “modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences.”

You People comes to Netflix on January 27, 2023.
