The “Evil Dead Rise” Red Band Official Trailer Is Filled With Blood and Scares

The “mother of all evil” comes in the “Evil Dead Rise” official trailer. Going from the woods to the city, the “Evil Dead” franchise is getting a refresh in the upcoming film written/directed by Lee Cronin.

Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland play estranged sisters “whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.” Introducing Nell Fisher in the film, Morgan Davies and Gabrielle Echols also star in “Evil Dead Rise.”

I’m a horror lover, but even this trailer was a bit much. I know the “Evil Dead” franchise doesn’t hold back with the guts and gore and this new iteration will follow suit.

“Evil Dead Rise” comes to theaters on April 21, 2023.
