The ‘Scream VI’ Official Teaser Trailer Brings Ghostface to New York

Ghostface is trading Woodsboro for the Big Apple in the “Scream VI” official teaser trailer.

For almost 30 years spanning soon-to-be six films, the “Scream” franchise has been asking fans what’s their favorite scary movie and playing on all the troupes that transpire in horror films. But this time around “in a city of millions, no one hears you scream.”

Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) and her sister Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) along with Tara’s friends/twin siblings Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding) are four survivors from the latest Woodsboro killing spree that happened in the fifth “Scream” film that came out earlier this year. The group leaves town for a fresh start.

In the “Scream VI” official teaser trailer it’s Halloween in New York and if you ever experience one you know how wildly entertaining and intense it can be. It’s the perfect setting for Ghostface to commit mayhem unchecked.

Film franchise legacy character Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) will be back in the film along with Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) from “Scream 4” (2011). Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving will be joining the franchise in the new installment.

“Scream VI” comes to theaters on March 10, 2023.
