‘The Circle’ Returns To Netflix In Late December For Season 5

ALERT! Get ready to head back into The Circle.

On Twitter, it was revealed that the upcoming season of the Netflix social media reality competition series will be returning for its fifth season at the end of next month. The Circle pins players against one another to use influence to become the top player through a series of games and challenges ultimately narrowing down one as the winner earning them a cash prize. Being five seasons in at this point the series is trying something new to give the game some new life.

“This season everyone is playing single,” announced host Michelle Buteau in the promo. What makes that notion so important? Many people in The Circle attempt to use their relationship status as a tactic to gain alliances. With everyone being single I think those potential alliances can get really messy especially if players attempt to bond with multiple people. We’ll see.

The first batch of episodes of The Circle season 5 drops on December 28th on Netflix.
