Opposites Attract In The First ‘Elemental’ Teaser Trailer

Pixar films have a way of creating stories that evoke deep emotion no matter what the context. One of their upcoming projects seems to bring a new way we’ll experience a love story, through elements.

In “Elemental” opposites react when Ember (Leah Lewis) and Wade (Mamoudou Athie) meet and fall in love in a city where fire, water, land, and air elementals reside. Ember and Wade’s names are just as literal as you think. Ember is fire and Wade is water which will make it very hard for them to touch one another. In the first teaser trailer for “Elemental”, we see a typical day of Ember heading into Element City by train surrounded by a myriad of other elements and how they react to one another. In the final moments of the teaser Ember and Wade meet.

“Elemental” is expected in theaters on June 16, 2023.
