The Second Semester Brings More Drama In ‘Gossip Girl’ Season 2 Official Trailer

Time to crash the party and get ready for a new season of HBO Max’s Gossip Girl.

The reboot of The CW series is returning for its sophomore season next month on HBO’s streaming service. It’s the second semester of Junior Year for the majority of the GG characters and the drama goes into overload for the group of Manhattan’s elite. “It’s time for her (Gossip Girl) to turn the heat up on what’s been simmering. Old enemies, new allies, constantly shifting sands – this semester, there can only be one queen, and by the end of the school year, everyone will know where the bodies are buried, and just who was holding the shovel.”

I’m most excited about the return of my girl Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg). Whenever any of the OG Gossip Girl characters showed up in season 1 or were referenced in any way I was so excited, so for Georgina to have a significant role in the upcoming season is very pleasing to this GG fan.

Gossip Girl season 2 begins streaming on Thursday, December 1 only on HBO Max.
