Surprise!

After some light consideration I’ve decided to bring back my “So, I Was Watching…” Podcast. I debuted the podcast back on April 16, 2021, as part of Glambergirlblog’s 10th anniversary. “So, I Was Watching…” is a podcast about the films and TV shows on my watch list combined with commentary on the real-life social themes within the narrative. It was a limited series that forced me to grow as a creative and lasted 10 episodes. I didn’t really intend on bringing the show back, but as you all know I love television and film and have been watching some great projects lately that compelled me to give myself a platform where I could gush about them and elaborate more on the plots.

Season 2 kicks off with a discussion and breakdown of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies series. The show stars Grace Van Patten and Jackson White as Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco. The pair spark a toxic relationship over the course of Lucy’s freshman year of college. Based on the book by Carola Lovering, Tell Me Lies touches on topics of manipulation, toxic love and friendships, childhood trauma, and more. All discussed in the season 2 premiere episode of “So, I Was Watching…”
