8 Horror Movies With A Twist [Glamberween]

By now you should know Horror movies are my jam and I’ve seen quite a bit of them. The best ones are the films that not only scare you and have you looking over your shoulders all night, but the ones that have a twist you didn’t see coming.

There are a lot of Horror movies that offer up a major plot twist, or at least a shocking turn of events, that leaves the audience wide-eyed way after the credits roll. For this Glamberween post, I want to share some of the movies that immediately came to mind when thinking about Horror movies with a twist. In order to preserve some of the twists (if you haven’t watched these movies) I’ll just tease the plots below.

“Wish Upon” (2017)
Being careful what you wish for has never been more true than in this film. Where to watch: Hulu, Pluto TV, Shout! Factory TV

“Fresh” (2022)
Meeting the handsome stranger in the produce aisle might not be the ideal meet cute you’re hoping for. Where to watch: Hulu

“Spree” (2020)
Kids do anything for fame these days. Where to watch: Hulu

“No Exit” (2022)
Stuck at a rest stop during a snowstorm…what could go wrong? Where to watch: Hulu

“A Nasty Piece of Work” (2018)
Some people will do anything to get ahead at work. Where to watch: Hulu

“Stalker” (2020)
Be careful how much you put online! Where to watch: Hulu

“Devil” (2010)
One of my favorite M. Night Shyamalan projects, the devil is in the details. Where to watch: Peacock, Bravo Now, E! Now

“The Sixth Sense” (1999)
We should already know this twist, but it doesn’t make it any less shocking. Trust that inner sense. Where to watch: Hulu, Peacock
