Nicole Kidman’s AMC Ad Is Perfectly Spoofed During ‘SNL’s’ Season 48 Premiere

Saturday Night Live returned for its 48th season on Saturday, October 1 with host Miles teller and musical guest Kendrick Lamar. Although the show has experienced some recent cast shake-ups with many of the notable names leaving the sketch comedy show at least they still have Chloe Fineman, who is one hell of an impressionist.

If you’ve been to AMC Theatres within the past year then you’re fully aware of the ad that plays before the movie starts. Nicole Kidman is seen walking up to an AMC and entering to enjoy a show. During the ad, Kidman explains the impact of watching movies with an audience and the experience of enjoying a movie in the theaters. The ad has built a cult following of loyal theater patrons who can recite the ad in its entirety.

SNL picked up on that, as they do, and got Chloe Fineman to channel her Nicole Kidman impression to recreate the ad and the absurdity of it all. It’s simply perfect.
