Death is truly not the end and in the case of Jen Harding and Judy Hale it was the start of twisted yet blossoming friendship in Netflix’s Dead to Me starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.
Dead to Me premiered in May 2019 with its second season dropping in May 2020, but the pandemic delayed the third and final season, so the wrap up of the series will be coming in a few months. The date announcement came during Netflix’s Tudum event along with an official trailer. The show follows widow Jen Harding (Applegate) beginning a friendship with Judy Hale (Cardellini); unaware of the crucial part Judy played in her husband’s death. “All roads have led to this.”
I must be honest. I’m going to have to do a full rewatch of Dead to Me because while I know I enjoyed the show when I watched it I can’t even begin to tell you any details about this series, but I’m invested enough to see this show til the end. Luke Roessler, Sam McCarthy, Max Jenkins, Diana Maria Riva, Brandon Scott, Keong Sim, Natalie Morales, Valerie Mahaffey, and James Marsden appear in Dead to Me.
The final season of Dead to Me streams on Netflix on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
