Mike Flanagan’s ‘The Midnight Club’ Official Trailer Is A Spooky Season Treat

I’ve deemed Mike Flanagan as the Emotional Horror King of Netflix and rightfully so. With projects like “Gerald’s Game,” The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass already under his belt; I’ve either cried or was scared, or cried AND was scared watching a Mike Flanagan project, so I feel The Midnight Club will be no different.

Based on the 1994 young adult horror book by Christopher Pike, The Midnight Club, slated for 10 episodes, follows a group of terminally ill patients at Brightcliffe Hospice who meet each night to tell scary stories and make a pact that the next of them to die will give the group a sign from the beyond.

Ruth Codd, Annarah Cymone, Sauriyan Sapkota, Adia, Aya Furukawa, Iman Benson, William Chris Sumpter, and Igby Rigney all appear in The Midnight Club streaming on Netflix on Friday, October 7.
