Ani FaNelli (Mila Kunis) has carefully crafted her dream life. She’s about to land her job dream as an editor for New York Times Magazine and in weeks’ time she’ll be married to her ideal man (Finn Wittrock) in “a lavish, but tasteful ceremony,” but a chance encounter will unravel her picture-perfect reality in “Luckiest Girl Alive.”
Based on Jessica Knoll’s best-selling novel of the same name, Ani has a dark past she strategically kept hidden and is on the brink of exposure when a true crime documentary director invites her to share her side of what happened at the prestigious Brentley School she attended in her youth. All is not what it appears to be on the surface. Directed by Mike Barker; Connie Britton, Justine Lupe, Jennifer Beals, Scoot McNairy, Thomas Barbusca, and Chiara Aurelia are some of the stars of the film.
“Luckiest Girl Alive” streams on Netflix on October 7, 2022.
