‘Pearl,’ The Prequel To ‘X,’ Gets An Official Trailer Starring Mia Goth

Writer/Director Ti West is creating a horror film universe with actress Mia Goth at the center of it and it looks pretty good. West is following up his “X” film with its prequel counterpart “Pearl” a few months later.

Back in March “X” was released. Set in 1979, “a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives.” “X” starred Jenna Ortega, Kid Cudi, Brittany Snow, Martin Henderson, Owen Campbell, and Goth playing dual roles one of which was one of the elderly hosts, Pearl.

In the prequel “Pearl,” with a thirst for fame Pearl will do anything to obtain it and viewers will get the back story of exactly how Pearl became the person she was.
