It’s Just A Bunch of ‘Hocus Pocus’ In The Official Teaser For The Upcoming Sequel

Come little children, the time’s come to play because the witches are back!

The first official teaser for the Disney+ Original Movie “Hocus Pocus 2” has been released and to say this teaser got me up is an understatement. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are set to reprise their roles as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson – the infamous witches that haunted the town of Salem by sucking the lives out of children to remain young and beautiful forever in the 1993 classic film “Hocus Pocus.”

In the sequel, the witches are back at it again when a teen girl (Whitney Peak) on the brink of possibly coming into her own supernatural powers awakens the Sanderson sisters 29 years after the events from the original film. While the witches wreak havoc, it’s up to three high-school students to stop them before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.

The Sanderson sisters can be seen in motion for the first time in the teaser along with glances of familiar staples like Winifred’s book and a black cat, that can’t be Binx since his spirit moved on, so it’ll be interesting to know who that is and if other characters like Doug Jones (who will appear) from “Hocus Pocus” will show up.

Lilia Buckingham, Belisa Escobedo, Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen all appear in “Hocus Pocus 2.”

If you don’t believe you better get superstitious. “Hocus Pocus 2” streams on Disney+ Friday, September 30.
