The New Renaissance: Beyoncé’s Announces New Album For July 2022 Release

It’s the moment loyal Beyhive members have been waiting for! Beyoncé will be releasing her 7th studio album next month.

Speculation about Bey releasing anything is always narrowed in on via social media. Fans will notice the tiniest detail that could hint at Beyoncé dropping either new music or a new Ivy Park collection. This time it proved to be music. Earlier this week Beyoncé removed the profile picture from all her socials leaving fans to believe she was about to announce something. In the wee hours of Thursday morning, Tidal shared an image on Twitter that read “act i Renaissance” with the caption “Beyoncé RENAISSANCE July 29.”

Sending fans into a frenzy and already prepping their Renaissance attire, Bey wasn’t done. Later she shared her British Vogue cover and feature images on Instagram. Edward Enninful, who sat down with Beyoncé for the British Vogue feature got to hear some of the music from the upcoming album. He described it as “music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul.” Act 1 of Bey’s upcoming album is rumored to have 16 tracks including 8 features, one of which will feature her daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE drops Friday, July 29.
