You had me at Jon Snow!

I’m House Stark and have always been House Stark, so I was very pleased with the no so received series finale of HBO’s award-winning global phenomenon Game of Thrones because the pack survived! The series, based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series, ran for eight seasons from 2011-2019 and followed nine noble families in the land of Westeros fighting for control over the iron throne while maintaining a mystical evil that came to a climax in the final season.

Kit Harington played the beloved bastard Jon Snow whose broody temperament and exquisite skills in battle made him a fan favorite. With his association to House Stark, he was a favorite character of mine as well, so the announcement of a possible sequel that stars Harington as Snow being in development is music to my direwolf ears.

The Hollywood Reporter learned that HBO is in early development to produce the first sequel in the GOT franchise that will bring Harington’s iconic character back on screen if the show moves forward. I hope so because that means other members of the Stark family could appear and even though Jon was exiled to North of the Wall, other surviving characters from GOT might show up as well. I’m loving this news, but reps at HBO and for Kit Harington didn’t have any comment on this news, so let’s pretend we know nothing until we know something.

Would you watch a Game of Thrones sequel starring Jon Snow? Would you want any more Starks to show up? Share your thoughts in the comments.
