It’s no secret that Stranger Things is a global phenomenon and one of Netflix’s biggest series to date. Season 4, volume 1 dropped May 27 after a three-year hiatus and succeeded in hitting fans’ expectations with a darker premise, lovable new characters, and yet remaining the same with the heart of the show – our favorite nerds battling the demons of the upside down.

We’ve been running up that road, running up that hill, and running up that building waiting for volume 2 to drop and thanks to Netflix’s Geeked Week fans of the Hawkins gang get a sneak peek into what’s to come in a few weeks when the last few episodes of season 4 drops.

Season 4, volume 1 separated the cast more than it ever did before. With the Byers now living in California with Eleven, the rest of the characters in Hawkins, and Hopper imprisoned in Siberia, it’s going to take a lot for them to get back together to fight this season’s monster Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) as a team. The teaser for the second half of the season features upcoming scenes and Vecna saying “It is over Eleven. You have freed me. You can’t stop this now.”

“Chapter Eight: Papa” and “Chapter Nine: The Piggyback” aka the longest Stranger Things episode to date with a 2 hours and 19 minutes running time will wrap up the season. Stranger Things season 4, volume 2 streams on Netflix, Friday, July 1.
