Many fans of the romantic comedy genre have been asking what happened to their favorite type of film? Where are all the good rom coms? Billy Eichner may have a hand in bringing the genre back to the forefront this fall.
Directed by Nicholas Stoller and written by Stoller and Billy Eichner, “Bros” stars Eichner as Bobby Leiber a very successful podcast host on the quest to find love. In doing so, Bobby is debunking all the “normal” things that are sought out in relationships and instead is trying to find “another tolerable human being to go through life with.”
“Bros” is the first major studio film to feature an all LGBTQ principal cast playing heterosexual roles and features Luke Macfarlane, Ts Madison, Monica Raymund, Jim Rash, Bowen Yang, Dot-Marie Jones, Guillermo Díaz, Guy Branum, and Amanda Bearse in the project.
You can catch “Bros” in theaters on September 30, 2022.
