Olivia Wilde serves as director, and supporting actress, for the very anticipated “Don’t Worry Darling” starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles coming to theaters this fall.

In a tight-knit utopia, Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) live a picture perfect 1950’s lifestyle with the wives of the community maintaining an idealistic home while the husbands are busy working for the top-secret Victory Project under the influential CEO Frank (Chris Pine). Things take a more sinister turn when Alice begins to question what is actually going down at Victory Project and the blow back could implode the entire operation of the neighborhood.

When I first heard about this film I had no idea it would be a thriller and once I saw the trailer I was immediately intrigued. The vibe is giving “Stepford Wives,” but I’m hoping the way the movie unfolds it won’t be that obvious. Visually the film looks stunning and I haven’t watched a good thriller in a while, so you know where I’ll be in September.

Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Kate Berlant, Asif Ali, Douglas Smith, Timothy Simons, and Ari’el Stachel also star in the film.

“Don’t Worry Darling” opens in theaters Friday, September 23, 2022.
