Every moment matters, so make every moment count.
I remember watching the 2009 film “The Time Traveler’s Wife” starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams and being flabbergasted by the concept. Based on the best-selling novel, the story follows a Chicago librarian named Henry (Bana) who has a unique gene that causes involuntary time travel; an issue that later causes complications with his wife Clare (McAdams). HBO Max is putting a spin on the film by making a series diving deep into Henry’s gift.
The Time Traveler’s Wife series stars Theo James as Henry DeTamble and Rose Leslie stepping into the role of Claire Abshire. Since this is a show I think we’ll get to know more about the roots of Henry’s time-traveling gift and about the different eras of his life before and with Claire. In the trailer, it also seems like Henry and Claire are filming some sort of documentary. Maybe for their daughter Alma to know more about where she came from? I really enjoyed the film so I’ll at least give this show a one-episode try.
The Time Traveler’s Wife streams on HBO Max on Sunday, May 15.
