Peacock’s ‘Bel-Air’ Depicts More Dramatic Side of ‘Fresh Prince’ [Official Trailer]

Jabari Banks will take over as the new Fresh Prince in Peacock’s upcoming one-hour drama Bel-Air.

Based on Morgan Cooper’s 2019 viral video that imagined what would happen if Will Smith made The Fresh Prince in modern times, Peacock’s reboot will do just that.

Peacock’s Bel-Air is set in modern-day America where Will (Banks) gets into some trouble in the streets of West Philadelphia and is sent to live with his wealthy extended family in California for a second chance. The series seems to be a coming-of-age story for young black men today looking for guidance.

Executive produced by Will Smith, the show also stars Adrian Holmes, Olly Sholotan, Cassandra Freeman, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Simone Joy Jones, Jimmy Akingbola, and Jordan L. Jones.

Bel-Air streams Sunday, February 13th exclusively on Peacock.
