HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ Season 2 Trailer Hints At Darker Times Ahead For Rue and Friends

In early January you will remember this feeling.

The anticipated second season of HBO’s Emmy-winning series Euphoria is coming and I for one am super excited. The groundbreaking series premiered in June 2019 but was held up from releasing another season because of the pandemic. Luckily for us, the cast and crew were able to safely power through and deliver another season.

Zendaya leads the outstanding cast as Rue Bennett, a teen who struggles with drug addiction and depression. Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, John Ales, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney round out the ensemble.

All episodes are created and written by Sam Levinson, who also serves as executive producer, with each episode focusing on a specific character and how their story intertwines with the rest of the cast. Season 2 is expected to be much darker with new cast members joining the show.
