GGB’s 25 Days of Christmas Watch List: Holidate

One of the most stressful things about the holidays can be dealing with crowds, dysfunctional family members, or shopping for loved ones, but in this case, it’s Sloane being single.

Emma Roberts stars in Netflix’s festive film “Holidate” as Sloane, one of the last single women in her family who happens to hate the holidays. Joining forces with Jackson (Luke Bracey), who is in a similar situation, the two pair up and vow to help each other through the holidays by being each other’s plus one throughout Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.  Of course, this type of situation is a no feelings, no sex attached deal, but things don’t go as planned in the movies, and unexpected love forms.

This is not just a Christmas movie, but it’s a movie to get you through all the holidays. I love a good rom com, so I found this movie to be absolutely delightful and given I’m in a current single situation like Sloane….I can 100% relate! Why can’t all our love lives be like rom coms.
