GGB’s 25 Days of Christmas Watch List: Victorious A Christmas Tori

I was way past the targeted age for Victorious when it aired on Nickelodeon, but thankfully my youngest niece was in that demographic and that’s how this show even came up on my radar. I’m a 90’s kid so new-age Nick wasn’t my thing, but man is Victorious hilarious. As an adult, I can recognize the adult humor in a lot of these kids’ shows and that’s probably to get the parents to sit through many of them.

Victorious is about a group of teens attending a performing arts high school, Hollywood Arts, and all the high jinks that can occur in a children’s sitcom. The Christmas episode of Victorious “A Christmas Tori” (Season 3, Episode 1) has plenty of adult jokes, an original Christmas song, and holiday cheer that makes it a perfect addition to GGB’s Christmas Watch List. “It’s Not Christmas Without You” is such a catchy song that’s definitely on my holiday playlist and I love the whole Secret Santa aspect of this episode. It’s hard to find Christmas gifts but it’s extra special when you give gifts that you know someone will enjoy. Where to watch: Netflix, Paramount+
