Doja Cat released a music video for her “Woman” track off her third studio album Planet Her.
It’s the first track on her latest album released back in June and it was instantly one of my favorite songs off the album the minute I heard it, but if I’m keeping it buck it’s only about two skips on that album for me. When that happens I consider it a hit!
Just how I imagined, “Woman” is easily a performance track. It gives Motherland bass with earthy vocals leading to a flawless rap verse from Doja. I love when she flips back and forth from rapping and singing.
Directed by child., Teyana Taylor is featured talent as a queen in the video about to be overthrown, but conjures up Doja Cat as a distraction. Doja proceeds to hypnotize throughout the video with on-point choreography by Cortland Brown. One thing Doja Cat gonna do is match a visual to a track perfectly! Shout out to her team!
