With all the streaming services out these days, it’s really hard to keep up with all the constant content and original shows coming out. Every once in a while I stumble on a goodie that makes having access to a lot of the services worth it.
Peacock’s One of Us Is Lying is based on Karen M. McManus’ New York Times best-selling novel of the same name and is about a group of five high school seniors who end up in detention on the first day of school at Bayview High. Only four of them leave detention alive. It’s a “whodunit” type series that’s giving Gossip Girl splashed with “Knives Out” and I’m loving it. I enjoy a murder mystery where everyone seems like the killer, but you have no idea where the story is going.
The first batch of episodes premiered Thursday, October 7th on Peacock, the next three will premiere this Thursday, October 14th, and the final two will come out the following week, October, 21st.
Watch the official trailer for One of Us Is Lying in the clip below. This show is really good and I can’t wait to find out who is lying. Did you check out this show yet? Did you happen to read the book the show is based on? Share your thoughts in the comments.
