‘Sex and The City’ Revival Series ‘And Just Like That…’ Teases December Release

Grab your cosmos, Manolos, and get ready to hit the streets of New York City once more with Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York, and Miranda Hobbes in the HBO Max revival of their hit Sex and the City series, And Just Like That…

Sex and the City ran for 6 seasons from 1998-2004 and followed the lives of four women in NY navigating love and sex. Two films for the franchise were released in 2008 and 2010. And Just Like That…is expected to follow what life is like for the ladies now in their 50’s with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon back as their iconic characters.

Many of the original cast members are coming back for the revival series with some new characters added to the bunch, but sadly one familiar face will be deeply missed. Willie Garson, who played Carrie’s beloved bestie Stanford Blatch, unexpectedly passed away last month in the midst of shooting the series and reprising his role. Approaching how to handle his character will be interesting.

The launch of HBO Max in Europe revealed an announcement that And Just Like That…will be coming to the streaming service later this year. December to be exact. What a holiday treat.
