The Official ‘Chucky’ Trailer Teases The Return Of Familiar Faces From The Franchise

Happy Spooky Season all you ghouls and gals!

I don’t know about you, but this is truly my favorite time of year. All the best horror movies and shows return to cable and every now and then new projects show up that look worth my time. The upcoming USA & SYFY series Chucky is one of them.

The Don Mancini “Chucky” film franchise has always been one of my favs. Brad Dourif’s take on serial killer Charles Lee Ray becoming forever trapped in the Good Girl doll Chucky is unmatched! Chucky has always been a funny character to me, but as the films went on he got bolder and more hilarious. The USA & SYFY series seems like it will keep that same momentum.

In the TV series, a vintage Good Guy doll shows up at a suburban yard sale, unbeknownst to the town folk that a serial killer is among their midst. The best part about this series and the trailer is all the familiar faces from the film franchise appearing dating back to the original 1988 “Child’s Play.” Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Jennifer Tilly, and Fiona Dourif are reprising their roles as Andy, Kyle, Tiffany, and Nica and seeing them in the trailer made me so happy! This show doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint.
