If you’re a fan of “The Big-Short,” “The Campaign,” “Ant-Man,” “Step Brothers,” and “Anchorman,” then you are an Adam McKay fan. Those projects are just a small flavor of the impact the writer/director has contributed to the entertainment industry, but his latest project has so much star power that people have been joking that Netflix spent all their budget for “Don’t Look Up.”

Written and Directed by McKay, “Don’t Look Up” stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as Dr. Randall Mindy and Kate Dibiasky, two low-level astronomers who go on a major media tour to warn the world about a comet approaching Earth that will destroy mankind.

In the trailer, Randall and Kate go meet President Janie Orlean (Meryl Streep) and what appears to be a close advisor Jason (Jonah Hill) to convince them of the severity of the situation and it’s met with disbelief.

The star-studded cast includes: Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Melanie Lynskey, Ron Perlman, Michael Chiklis, Mark Rylance, Ariana Grande, Tyler Perry, Kid Cudi, and a small appearance from Chris Evans.

“Don’t Look Up” streams exclusively on Netflix, Friday, December 24th. Watch the official teaser trailer for “Don’t Look Up” in the clip below. Does this seem like a film you can’t wait to see? Share your thoughts in the comments.
