The Official Trailer For The Upcoming Horror Series ‘Chucky’ Premieres With Release Date

Spooky season 2021 just got a bit more interesting. Thanks to Comic Con at Home 2021, the first trailer for Chucky the series was released. The Don Mancini (the man behind the entire “Chucky” franchise) created series comes to USA and SYFY in early October.

The premise of the show follows Jake (Zackary Arthur) finding a vintage Chucky doll at a yard sale and soon Chucky’s true nature is revealed as horrendous murders exposes the town’s deepest secrets. In the trailer the legend returns as Chucky wrecks havoc on a small suburban town. The show looks like it will combine all the best elements from the “Chucky” franchise while giving it a modern spin. Chucky is one of the funniest horror films to me because of the killer doll himself. He’s hilarious and the trailer proved that comedic aspect of the Good Guy doll will resurface. I’m also delighted that Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif, Brad Dourif, Alex Vincent, and Christine Elise will return to the franchise as their iconic characters Tiffany, Nica Pierce, Chucky, Andy Barclay, and Kyle (respectively). This is going to be good!

Chucky premieres on SYFY and USA Network on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10/9c.
