Lil Nas X Causes Another Stir With His ‘Industry Baby’ Music Video Featuring Jack Harlow

Ever since Lil Nas X left that old town road and embraced his true self fully putting his sexuality into creative expression; he’s been ruffling some feathers. I for one, love to see it. Case in point, his latest video for his new single “Industry Baby” featuring Jack Harlow.

I’m not a Lil Nas X fan or I should say I haven’t been following his career. I check to see every time he’s trending on Twitter and it’s usually for him hilariously trolling someone or something OR the straights are upset about him putting his queer life on display. His “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name” music video damn near caused a riot because of the satanic depictions and his 2021 BET Awards performance was met with equal disdain because he made out with a boy. Let that man live.

Anywho, I love his new song “Industry Baby” for one main reason and that’s the beat. It’s giving HBCU marching band and it gets me hype. Directed by Christian Breslauer and the story by Lil Nas X himself, the visual sends Lil Nas X to jail for all his past discretion but the boys are turning up with the choreo and it’s a very entertaining video. I don’t know much about rapper Jack Harlow either. I’m not familiar with his music but I know black girls love him and the jokes were a plenty on Twitter today. Thanks Lil Nas for the laughs.
