Wednesdays are getting scary again! American Horror Story fans our spooky anthology series is finally returning to our TV screens with a “Double Feature” following the pandemic pushback.
American Horror Story: Double Feature will mark a decade of the Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy created series airing. The general plot of the upcoming season is still unknown. but at least we know AHS favs are returning. Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Leslie Grossman, Frances Conroy, Adina Porter, and Angelica Ross are all AHS alums and slated in the premiere episode with Macaulay Culkin joining the cast. I haven’t seen Culkin act in anything since a child, so I’m excited to see him in an adult role in a program I actually watch.
This upcoming season will mark the longest gaps between seasons. The series has been dishing out new seasons yearly since its debut with Murder House in 2011. Season 9 (AHS: 1984) concluded in 2019.
In other AHS news, the spin-off series American Horror Stories is also coming this year and is reported to be one-hour episodes that will tell a new ghost story each one. I feel like it’s giving Goosebumps for adults vibes and I’m so into that. This series premieres exclusively on FX on Hulu on July 15.
Season 10 of American Horror Story premieres Wednesday, August 25 on FX.
Will you be tuning into AHS: Double Feature in August? What are you hoping for in the upcoming season? Share your thoughts in the comments.
