The Rooms Are Bigger And More Intense In ‘Escape Room: Tournament of Champions’ [TRAILER]

I love escape rooms! Let’s just start there and I feel like I mentioned that when reviewing the 2019 film “Escape Room.” That movie was a thrill ride, to say the least, and the sequel is finally getting released following the covid push back.

“Escape Room: Tournament of Champions” will bring back Taylor Russell and Logan Miller along with four other contestants to try their luck at escaping another set of immersive rooms. This movie is like “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” bringing back past winners to compete again in crazy situations simply to survive because at this point who gives a damn about money…just get me OUT of these games.

Once again, like most trailers these days, a LOT is given away. I wished they showed less, but I’m still very much invested in this franchise and can’t wait to see how different the rooms and challenges will be this time around and how everyone is connected.

Thomas Cocquerel, Holland Roden, Indya Moore, and Carlito Olivero also star in “Escape Room: Tournament of Champions” out in theaters July 16th.
