Hold Your Tongue And Watch The Graphic Opening Scene Of ‘Spiral: Saw’

“Spiral: Saw” is coming to theaters this weekend after the pandemic pushed back the release date nearly a year. “Spiral” will be the ninth film in the “Saw” franchise and is attempting to reinvent the infamous Jigsaw murders while still maintaining some level of familiarity for hardcore fans.

To get audiences hyped for the film release, Lionsgate dropped the opening scene to “Spiral” and it’s an eye, well tongue full. A detective enters the belly of a subway tunnel tracking someone which leads him right into a trap. This isn’t the regular Jigsaw game invite, but the outcome is still pretty much the same: gruesome and gory.

I’m still contemplating if “Spiral: Saw” will be the movie that gets me back into the theaters during the pandemic, so I’ll keep you posted if I end up seeing it opening weekend. And by keeping you posted it will be in the form of a movie review.
