Get in losers. It’s time to watch our favorite serial killer take down some more bad guys. The first teaser for Showtime’s limited series of Dexter is here and we’ll get to see it later this year.

The revival will bring back Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan for a 10-episode limited series. In the teaser, Dexter appears to be right back to his old ways dressed in his signature slaughter attire looking out the window at a snowy, woodsy landscape. When the camera pans to him the reflection shows someone taped and gagged to a table while Dexter smiles at the camera all to the tune of Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” playing in the background. This is going to be good.

The series premiered October 1, 2006 and ran for 8 seasons wrapping up in 2013. The show followed Dexter Morgan, played by Hall, as a blood splatter analyst for the Miami Dade police department who had a dark side as a serial killer in his pastime. [Read more details about the series HERE]

Dexter will return to Showtime this fall.
