Welcome To Planet Her: Doja Cat Releases “Kiss Me More” Visual Featuring SZA

You are now entering Doja Cat‘s atmosphere. Welcome to Planet Her (the name of the 25-year-old rapper’s upcoming third studio album which is rumored to be released this year).

“Kiss Me More” is the first single from the new era of music from the “Say So” artist. The single features SZA and is definitely different from anything Doja has done. For new music Doja said she will be exploring a variety of genre’s and working with a mix of artist. “It’s people that I respect and I’m extremely excited about having on the album and it’s a full-circle moment for me,” she told SZA during their V Magazine interview.

In the music video for “Kiss Me More” an astronaut crashes on a planet and proceeds to find a boat to swim down a river. He then comes across an enormous alien-like Doja. The video in general is very ethereal for both Doja and SZA’s parts and it took me a couple listens to get into the song and it’s a grower for sure. It will be interesting to hear how the rest of album will sound.
