Crying Emoji, Heart Emoji – Netflix’s Addictive Reality Competition Series ‘The Circle’ Returns April 14th

I don’t watch a lot of reality TV these days, but one that I became absolutely obsessed with last year was The Circle on Netflix.

The premise places a handful of contestants in isolated hubs to communicate online through an in house social media platform called “The Circle.” The objective is to remain in the game by achieving a certain level of popularity within the group. Least popular contestants are eliminated and the last person standing takes home $100,000. The other kicker for the show is that contestants go in the game anonymous, so they can be anyone they want online.

Season 1 was hilarious to me! There are other versions on Netflix that span other countries, but it’s the U.S. version for me and season 2 is on the way. The upcoming season promises more twists and turns and I can’t wait.

The Circle launches Wednesday, April 14 with new episodes dropping every Wednesday until the finale on May 5.
