A Beach Trip Ages A Family In M. Night Shyamalan’s Upcoming Film ‘Old’

M. Night Shyamalan has build his film career surrounding the unknown and getting his audience to think outside the box in terms of reality. His upcoming film “Old” is no different with fans already anticipating some sort of twist.

The teaser for “Old” dropped during Super Bowl Sunday and revealed a little bit of the plot. A family heads on vacation to a tropical beach that makes them age at an increased rate “reducing their entire lives into a single day.” Since this plot point was revealed then something bigger has to be happening in the film. I pretty much love everything project M. Night has done so I’m excited about this one.

Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant, and Thomasin McKenzie make up the international cast.

“It’s only a matter of time.” “Old” is slated to premiere in theaters this summer, July 23, 2021.
