Big Sean and Jhené Aiko Recreate Black Film Moments in ‘Body Language’ Visual

Big Sean is showing just how he speaks body language in the new music video for his latest single off his Detroit 2 album.

Back in September when Big Sean’s sixth studio album dropped he did a Detroit 2 preview where he released a visual for the “Body Language” track featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Jhené Aiko. The title card for the video listed “II of III.” Did that mean the Detroit native would be releasing three vidoes for the track? Well he’s two for two now.

In another video for “Body Language,” released today, Sean and Jhené channel their affection in the form of noteable black films. The video opens with a nod to Nia Long and Larenz Tate’s film ‘Love Jones.” Angela Bassett’s infamous car on fire scene from “Waiting to Exhale” is briefly referenced along with the bachelor party from “The Best Man” and scenes from “Poetic Justice” in the little over 4 minute video. Very cute concept that matches the vibe of the song.
