Welcome Home: The New ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ Trailer Is Spooky AF

The rise of covid-19 has put many television shows and film productions on halt or delayed the release of many anticipated projects. I’m grateful Netflix’s The Haunting of Bly Manor was not one of those projects and will be coming to the streaming service in a little over a week.

From the producers of Netflix’s beloved gem The Haunting of Hill House comes a new installation with another ghost story. The Haunting of Bly Manor brings back Hill House favs Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Kate Siegel with T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith and Amelia Eve rounding out the cast.

Bly Manor will put its own spin on Henry James’ “The Turn of the Screw.” The official IMDb bio reads, “After an au pair’s tragic death, Henry hires a young American nanny to care for his orphaned niece and nephew who reside at Bly Manor with the chef Owen, groundskeeper Jamie and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose.” In the new trailer the ghosts are easy to spot which makes it that much more creepy and I’m so ready to leave the light on when I go to sleep after watching this. Spooky Season hurry up!

The Haunting of Bly Manor premieres Friday, October 9, 2020 only on Netflix.
