You’re Expected: The First Teaser Trailer For ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ Is HERE

“I have a story. A ghost story,” and this one looks like it’s going to be so damn good.

The anticipated follow up to the 2018 Mike Flanagan created series The Haunting of Hill House is coming in a little over a month. The Haunting of Bly Manor will take some of the familiar faces from the inaugural series (Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Kate Siegel) and place them in a new tale of what I like to call sentimental horror. This show will literally scare you and make you sob in the same season. Trust me.

Bly Manor is set in the backdrop of Henry James’ “The Turn of the Screw” about a governess taking care of two children in London as they encounter ghosts at the manor. The Haunting of Hill House established an intricate plot of combing two different timeline to tell the overall story and from the official teaser trailer for Bly Manor I get the sense the same basis could happen. I love that. The trailer doesn’t give too much away of what fans can expect, but it was said the ghosts in this season would be easier to spot and more prominent. The trailer is proving that. This is a perfect way to kick off spooky season. T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith and Amelia Eve also appear in the series.
