Tap Into Your Special Gifts With Netflix’s ‘Project Power’ Trailer

Kanye West said it best: “no one man should have all this power,” but I guess Mattson Tomlin, writer of Netflix’s upcoming Sci-fi action film “Project Power” didn’t get that memo.

Would you risk it all for five minutes of pure power? That’s the question posed in the Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman directed film starring Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dominique Fishback. Rodrigo Santoro, Machine Gun Kelly, and Courtney B. Vance also appear in the film.

“Project Power” for me is what happens when X-Men meets “Limitless” and I’m so into that.  Set in the backdrop of New Orleans, a mysterious pill circulating the streets can unlock your inner superpowers. The extent of your powers can range from being invisible, bulletproof, or really strong, but you won’t know unless you pop the pill. Of course having this level of power comes with its fair share of problems with the pill intentions to become weaponized. In the trailer, Foxx, Gordon-Levitt and Fishback team up in an attempt to stop the pill from getting into the wrong hands.
