Gossip Boys: Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley Chat For Variety’s Actors on Actors Series

I am fully aware that I am looking at Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley. I am not one of those crack pots who can not understand characters these actors play are NOT in any way themselves, but I can’t help but say look at Nate Archibald and Dan Humphrey! They look so good.

Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley got together, virtually, for Variety’s Actors on Actors interview series. It was the Gossip Girl reunion fans of the show weren’t expecting, but I’m sure a lot of us are happy we got. The special #AtHome version of the Variety series gave Crawford a chance to talk about his role on Amazon Prime’s The Boys and Badgley to share his experience working on Netflix’s You.

Naturally having two cast members of the 2007-2012 CW teen drama Gossip Girl in one place the conversation had to go there. The pair talked about how Gossip Girl was ahead of its time with social media, the reveal of finding out who Gossip Girl was, and the potential of live tweeting an episode together.

The conversation had the duo discussing playing privileged males on screen, how they got to expand their acting pallette, and their working schedules. Now I want to watch Gossip Girl.
